3S was initially interpreted as a stopper ask, but after 4H (slam try cue) it turned into an advanced cue. 4D was intended as NF but perhaps showing the club honour is better. Also North appears to have a standard 3D bid available instead of 2C.

Its a tough hand to bid accurately to 6D. You need to discover that north has precisely hAx to know you have a good contract for sure.
