At another table: 1c p 1h 1nt p 6nt ap Over a 1NT rebid situation you need a way to find if pard is min or max. one way is to use checkback stayman. With a max pard bids 3M or 2NT, other 2D, 2M. That way here eg over 2C south would bid 2H, showing 3 card support for hearts but a minimum. North would then sign off in 6NT. If South had a max and bid 3H then North can start thinking grand, but needs to know clubs are running and that is tricky to find out.
A balanced 20 hcp opp 1NT does not equal 7NT. Makes though.
