I like to play 2NT as natural invite. If forced to bid that is what I would do here.
I thought my values were soft and it was likely the opponents were in trouble and the fact that south wanted to bid made it slightly less likely that we could make something.
I guess if you play lebensohl then the right bid is 3NT showing game values but no heart stopper. But then I don't suppose the convention's originator took into account that the 1NT opener might have a five card major...
A slight correction: astpro style 2C shows 5-4 in two suits, *one* of which is hearts. I'm not proud of coming in on the above hand by the way.
EW play strong NT in 3rd and 4th. South's bidding shows a 5-4, with 5 hearts. Should west do something, if so what?

Sorry, you are right. With my second bid I've shown 5 hearts.
