Mr Michaels would turn in his grave at 2C. Do not abuse conventions.
Also, it indicates a problem with hand evaluation. South hand screams "ugly, I want to defend", yet South is keen to bid. Some people might X because of the major 4-4 which would be OK
I am not convinced by any of the bids - the passes all seem ok - at the table.
East should open 2NT with 20 points balanced.
South does not have a Michaels as mentioned above.
West's 2D shows 10 points and ideally five diamonds.
North's free 2S with one point doesn't seem likely to help south.
East's 3C overstates the clubs - it should show six - and understates the values - after 2D I would bid 3C on this auction with almost any hand with six clubs.
Doesn't North need to make a nuisance of himself? According to the bidding, NS has a 10 card fit, and EW has a 9 card fit at least. In addition EW have 29+ hcp so slam could be on. Under LOTT there are 19 tricks - if NS only make 7 tricks then EW should make slam, so 4SX-3 should be good for NS, if NS makes 8 tricks then EW make 11, so 4sX-2 would be good for NS. Seems like North should just jump to 4S - doesn't look like a suitable hand though!!
