  1. North elected to lead from KJxx, which is usually a poor lead, but in the case with oppo bidding the red suits and South having a 1NT it is quite likely to have a honour in each black suit. The trump lead could easily concede a trick when pard has Qxx and dummy is weak. DDA will be done.

  2. DDA indicates that the trump and dummy's suit are best to lead, by ~0.07 av tricks over the spade, which in turn is ~0.04 av tricks better than the club. Views on why?
